The Centre for Skilled and Internationally Trained Professionals offers a flexible schedule of workshops and events to our clientele.

Ongoing resource staff are available while you search for employment.  These include:

·         Employment Counsellors to help you create/revise your professional correspondence and work search tools

·         Employment Developers to assist you with effective job search strategies, provide job leads and direct placement assistance

·         Case Managers to provide additional advice and support concerning anything that may be affecting your ability to obtain a position e.g. child care, security clearance, courses such as WHMIS or First Aid, computer software training etc

Services include:

·         Access to Bredin Institute’s extensive Job Board - featuring new job postings daily

·         Professional work search documentation review and formatting

·         Photocopier, fax, computers with high speed Internet and a message service

·         Daily newspapers, business magazines, professional publications, occupational profiles and corporate directories

·         Preparation materials for professional association licensure examinations

·         Occupational specific study and support groups

·         Professional association and employer presentations

·         Telephone access – both local and long distance

·         Reimbursements for credential evaluation, exposure courses, professional licensure and language proficiency examinations may be available

·         Transportation assistance may also be available
