EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
The International Pharmacy Bridging Program prides itself on ensuring
that all of our students receive ample support in locating suitable
preceptors for the Alberta College of Pharmacists internship period.
This is achieved through the inclusion of:

Employer presentations
allow our students to meet face-to-face with a number of high
profile community and hospital pharmacy employers.

Student Interviews
are typically held over the course of a 2 week
period. Employers are able to make full use of Bredin facilities at
this time. Most opt for this option as they are able to complete
multiple interviews in one day rather than spread out over a couple
of weeks.
Past students of our program have been interviewed by a
number of high profile employers. These include: Value Drug Mart &
Associates, IGA Freson Market Ltd., Safeway Pharmacy, Wal-Mart Pharmacy,
DRUGStore, Zellers, Calgary Co-op, Shoppers Drug Mart, Calgary Health
Region, Capital Health and East Central Health.

Offers are released to students on a set date and time, thus
ensuring that students have the opportunity to receive multiple
offers, take some time for reflection and make a sound employment
decisions.
