PRESENTATIONS AND SUPPORT GROUPS: AN INTRODUCTION

The Centre for Foreign Trained Professionals coordinates a number of professional support groups accessible to the clients from specific occupations.  The Centre support groups are organized networks of internationally trained professionals who share the same professional background. They meet on a regular basis or keep in touch via e-mail to exchange updates on their licensure or job search progress, study for professional examinations, seek and share advice and provide each other with mutual support, often focusing on common goals and challenges.

Currently, the Centre is the key gathering and networking point for four support groups: Engineers, Doctors, Veterinarians and Nurses.
