| Program Area:Human Services Worker
| Amanda Orydzuk | | After receiving my BA in Sociology and working in the private sector for about a year, I had decided to upgrade my education in order to find work in a different field. Enrolling in the Human Services Worker program at Bredin Institute was exactly what I needed to do in order to make that change. The program allowed me to build on past education and work experience and gain new knowledge and experience in a short period of time. The instructors and staff at Bredin are extremely supportive and knowledgeable. A month after completing the program, I received a job offer from the Government of Alberta. As an Information Officer, I help people understand and apply for government programs and resources. I learned about a majority of these government programs while in the Human Services Worker program. I really enjoyed the program and have since recommended Bredin to others looking to upgrade or gain further education in the Human Services field. |
