·         Demonstrate professional behaviour in the role of a Human Services Worker

·         Provide quality service and competent care

·         Have the values, ethics and communication skills necessary for this field

·         Have the skills required to meet the personal care and health needs for individuals

·         Have an understanding and awareness of issues, advocacy and rights for individuals

·         Have the skills to assist in developing and integrating individuals into their community

·         Have satisfied and completed all employer-required training for entry into this field

·         Effectively job search, gain and maintain long-term employment as a Human Services Worker
